Do you drive a Lexus or Toyota? Has your car been recalled?

If you do it would be wise to check out safecar.gov to see if your vehicle is part of the many recalls that have been issued by Toyota.

Two issues affecting the vehicles are sudden stalling and acceleration problems.  A current investigation by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is investigating 26 reports of cars that suddenly stall out, even at high rates of speed.

The acceleration problem occurs when the gas pedal becomes entrapped in the floor mat.  Toyota has issued a recall that applies to over 4.2 million vehicles.  Models affected by the recall can be found here.   

If you believe that your car is under investigation or has been recalled please check with the manufacturer to see if you need to have the vehicle serviced.  If you drive any vehicle that you believe has a defect or fault then please report it to the NHTSA.  Without reports of malfunction recalls don't happen- putting your life and others at risk.
