Motor Vehicle Accident in Newport Vermont Hospitalizes Driver
A two-car accident on Vermont 105 in Newport Center Friday morning sent one driver to the hospital. Brittany Leonard, 16, of Newport Center lost control of her GMC pickup, swerved into oncoming traffic and struck the Volvo driven by Steven Wright, 42, of Newport, police said. Wright suffered chest and shoulder injuries and was transported to North Country Hospital in Newport Vermont.
