National Study on Workplace Injury, Death | NH Accident Attorney

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics' National Census of Fatal Occupation Injuries there were 5,071 fatal work injuries in 2008. The good news is that this number is over 7% less than it was in 2007 and a full 13% lower than in 2006.

The study also showed that men accounted for 92.7% of workplace fatalities though women were much more likely to die from on-the-job homicide.
