Warning to Parents - Graco Recalls Two Strollers

If you own a Graco stroller, you need to be aware of a major recall recently announced by Graco and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).

According to Atlanta-based Graco Children’s Product’s Inc. and the CPSC, the manufacturer is recalling approximately 2 million Graco strollers due to the risk of entrapment and strangulation. The strollers in question are Graco Quattro Tour and MetroLite strollers and were manufactured in China.

The recall involves the Graco Quattro Tour model manufactured prior to November 2006. The MetroLite strollers were manufactured prior to July 2007.

Infant Injuries
Between 2003 and 2005, Graco received five reports of infant strangulation. In addition, the CPSC has made it known that they are aware of five reports of infant entrapment. The incidences resulted in cuts and bruises.
