Shelly Vizena, office manager and paralegal at Van Dorn, Curtiss & Rousseau, PLLC, completed her undergraduate studies at Granite State College and graduated magna cum laude. Shelly then obtained her Masters of Science in Law from Champlain College. Shelly has worked at the firm since 1998 and plays a critical role in the operation of the practice. She is a notary public, a member of the American Association for Justice, and a member of the Vermont Association for Justice.

Lori Howard, paralegal at Van Dorn, Curtiss, Rousseau & Ross, PLLC, completed her undergraduate studies at Vermont Technical College and obtained her certificate in paralegal studies through Woodbury College. Lori has more than 18 years experience working as a paralegal.
Kira Botting, paralegal at Van Dorn, Curtiss, Rousseau & Ross, PLLC, joined the firm in 2016. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from DePaul University in Chicago, IL, where she minored in Sociology of Law and studied abroad with the College of Law at Humboldt University of Berlin. In 2018, Kira registered for Vermont’s Law Office Study Program. She continues to study law under the supervision of our attorneys and plans to sit for the Vermont Bar Exam in 2023. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her family.

John Thebodo, intake specialist/receptionist at Van Dorn, Curtiss & Rousseau, PLLC, has worked at the firm since 2014. John received his Associate's Degree in Paralegal Studies from New Hampshire Technical Institute. He is a notary public. John enjoys continuing his pursuit of higher education and spending time with his family.
Kim Waterhouse, paralegal at Van Dorn, Curtis, Rousseau & Ross, PLLC, is new to the firm. Although she has not worked in the legal field for several years, she does have 15 years of prior legal experience. She lives in Woodsville with her husband and enjoys spending time with her family.
