Ossipee Car Accident Involves Golf Cart
An Ossipee auto accident involving a golf cart and a minivan leaves one person dead and four others injured. The driver of the golf cart faces numerous charges, as a result of the incident.
The driver of the golf cart has been identified as Andrew Morrissey, 32, of Waltham, Mass. According to police, Morrissey was operating the golf cart on a highway while intoxicated when he slammed into a minivan.
Robin E. Clohecy was a passenger in the golf cart when the accident occurred and was killed as a result of the collision. Two other passengers were also injured including an 11-year-old boy. The third victim suffered a fractured hip. Reports also indicate that Morrissey suffered a lacerated spleen.
Morrissey faces nine charges, including aggravated drunk driving. His blood-alcohol level was believed to be 0.16 when the fatal incident occurred. Police believe that he may also have been under the influence of marijuana at the time.
The fatal New Hampshire car accident is still under investigation by local authorities.
