Workers Injured in Industrial Explosion

A recent explosion inside Worthen Industries injured four workers. According to Deputy Fire Chief Michael O'Brien employees were making welding repairs to an industrial process when the explosion occurred.

Four workers were injured, two seriously, in the explosion. Those seriously injured received lacerations and burns during the blast. All injured employees were taken to St. Joseph Hospital and Southern New Hampshire Medical Center. The two most seriously injured workers were later flown by helicopter to Boston hospitals, said O'Brien.

Worthen Industries runs industrial plants that develop adhesives and coatings for industrial products. The incident is currently under investigation by both the Nashua Fire Marshal and the federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration.

The staff and attorneys at Van Dorn & Curtiss hope that all of the injured workers make fast and complete recoveries.
