This tragic accident again underscores the need for driver safety, espicially as regards young drivers. Also questions of legal responsibility are raised by this kind of accident. Every driver has responsibility to maintain control of their vehicle, even in inclement weather. When a vehicle crosses over a center line and hits another vehicle head on, in most cases it is because the driver breached their responsibility to maintain proper control This creates legal liability to those injured or killed as a result of the accident.
