Manchester Car Accident Ends in the Arrest of Mother and Son
A Manchester car accident involving a hit-and-run accident ends with the arrest of a mother and son. The incident took place on Monday, March 8, 2010.
According to local police, a car fled an accident scene after colliding with another car. The driver of the car that was struck was injured in the incident. However, the extent of those injuries were not made known. The car reportedly suffered extensive front-end damage.
Witnesses indicated that there were three people in the fleeing car. Police located the hit-and-run vehicle a short time later with Rukija Buco, 43, of Manchester, behind the wheel. After further investigation, police learned that the actual driver during the crash was her 17-year-old son, Alen Jandric. Buco’s other teenage son was found in the car as well.
Jandric was apparently driving without a license and was arrested for leaving the scene of an accident. Jandric, along with Buco, were also charged with making a false report concerning the hit-and-run accident.
The Manchester auto accident is still under investigation by local authorities. No other details concerning the accident were made available.
We wish the victim and all of those involved in the wreck a speedy recovery.
