Epsom Car Accident Sends 3 to the Hospital
An Epsom car accident involving three vehicles along Route 4 sends three people to the hospital. The incident took place at approximately 5:00 PM on Tuesday evening, November 2, 2010, just east of Black Hall Road.
Rescue crews airlifted one of the victims to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center where they were treated for injuries sustained in the accident. Details concerning the victim’s injuries were not immediately made known. The victim was reported as being in critical condition.
Two other victims were transported by ambulance to Concord Hospital where they were treated and then released. The extent of their injuries was also not immediately made known.
According to Police Chief Wayne Preve, rescue crews were required to use the “Jaws of Life” to extricate one of the victims.
Neither of the victim’s identities was released. There were no other details concerning what caused the accident or who may have been at fault.
The crash led to the closure of Route 4 for several hours while emergency crews cleaned up the accident scene.
The three-vehicle Epsom car accident is still under investigation by local authorities.
