Nashua Car Accident Claims the Life of Two
A Nashua car accident involving a single vehicle claims the lives of two people and leaves another injured after the car they were traveling in slams into a tree. The incident took place late Friday night, November 5, 2010, along Main Dunstable Road.
According to the Nashua Police Department, the driver of a black Nissan Maxima lost control of the vehicle while traveling westbound on Main Dunstable Road and slammed into a tree. The driver has been identified as Khi Dwire, 21, of Milford. Dwire died as a result of his injuries sustained in the accident.
Rescue crews transported Stephen Duval, 21, of Nashua, who was riding in the car at the time of the crash, to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center. He was later taken to Massachusetts General Hospital where he was pronounced dead on Sunday at 9:50 PM.
A second passenger, Raymond Coutu, 20, of Nashua, was taken to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center where he was listed in critical condition.
The fatal Nashua car accident is still under investigation by local authorities. It has yet to be determined what exactly caused the driver to lose control of the vehicle, but police have indicated that they believe excessive speed was a factor.
