Seabrook Car Accident Leaves Man in Critical Condition
A Seabrook car accident involving two vehicles leaves a Massachusetts man in critical condition after his vehicle slams into the back of a delivery truck. The incident took place at approximately 3:15 PM on Monday afternoon, January 31, 2011, along Interstate 95.
According to New Hampshire State Police, a 1999 Nissan Maxima, traveling north on Interstate 95, veered into the breakdown lane and rear-ended a disabled delivery truck. The incident took place near Exit 1.
The driver of the Maxima has been identified as Edward King, 47, of Everett, Mass. Rescue crews transported Mr. King to Exeter Hospital in Seabrook where he was listed in critical condition. The victim was later taken via helicopter to Boston Medical Center.
Fortunately, there was no one in the delivery truck when the accident took place. The driver of the deliver truck was not immediately identified.
Police have yet to determine what caused Mr. King to swerve into the breakdown lane and slam into the back of the delivery truck.
The two-vehicle Seabrook car accident is still under investigation by local authorities. Anyone with information concerning the accident has been asked to contact Trooper First Class Keith Walker at 223-8490.
