Single-Vehicle Accident Involving Three Teenagers
Three teenagers were involved in a single-vehicle accident at the Rochester-Dover boarder on Thursday, August 21st. One of the victims was transported by firefighters to Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover. Paramedics transported the others to Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester.
The accident occurred just before midnight when a Chevy Blazer being driven by one of the teens failed to negotiate a sharp right turn. The Blazer hit a rock where it partially rolled over, injuring all three teens inside. Police do not suspect alcohol played a role in this accident.
The vehicle in this accident did not rollover completely, prevented in large part by the rock. Had the rock not been there a rollover accident may have occurred, and most likely been much more catastrophic.
