Three Claremont Teens Killed in Single-Vehicle Accident
Three teenagers from Claremont were killed in a single-vehicle accident in Unity on August 10th. A fourth victim was transported to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon where she is currently listed in fair condition.
This car accident occurred just after 2 a.m. on the 10th. Police have indicated that neither alcohol nor drugs are suspected in the crash. Investigators believe the driver lost control of the vehicle, allowing it to leave the roadway and strike a tree, resulting in its being split in two.
The victims in this car accident are all either former or current students at Stevens High School in Claremont. In response to this tragedy, SAU #6 Superintendent Middleton McGoodwin has opened a counseling center at the Sugar River Valley Regional Tech Center. Both students and community members are encouraged to visit the center if they are in need of support.
While the cause of this accident is under investigation, there is no question that many single-vehicle accidents result from manufacturer defects. When you lose a loved one in an accident, you need an experienced attorney who can investigate its cause, determine if another party’s negligence contributed to the accident, and help you seek the justice your family deserves.
