Honda Set to Recall Nearly 900,000 Odysseys
Honda has issued a recall for nearly 900,000 Odyssey minivans manufactured between 2005 and 2010. The recall revolves around prematurely deteriorating fuel pumps which pose a fire risk if not replaced.
Honda has stated that repair parts will not be available until this summer and has only announced the recall on their website. The company plans to contact owners about the recall beginning in April.
Product Liability
There has been quite a bit of attention paid to faulty vehicles in recent weeks. With GM’s massive recall and Toyota’s settlement over fault accelerators, “smaller” recalls like this one may slip through the cracks. However, no matter how small a recall, the manufacturers of defective vehicles are liable for any damages they cause.
The Vermont defective product attorneys at Van Dorn & Curtiss understand how devastating injury from a faulty vehicle can be. We also understand how difficult it can be to get fair compensation for these injuries, even after a recall has been issued.
Our attorneys fight tirelessly for victims of serious injury. We are prepared to take your case as far as necessary to see that you get the justice you are due.
