National Child Passenger Safety Week
September 14th – 20th is National Child Passenger Safety Week – a week designed to increase awareness of the importance of using proper restraints for children in cars. Auto accidents are the leading cause of death for children ages one to 13. Sadly, many of these deaths could have been prevented if only proper seats, boosters, or seatbelts were in use. If you are unsure of how well your seat is installed or if you have questions about what is best for your child’s safety, take advantage of the National Seat Check this Saturday, September 20th by visiting Safecar.Gov to locate one of the many inspection stations in Vermont and New Hampshire.
The Vermont car accident attorneys at Van Dorn & Curtiss understand that even when restraints are properly used, serious or fatal injury is not always preventable. In these tragic events we are here to fight tirelessly for families, taking cases as far as needed to help secure maximum compensation. We are not intimidated by insurance companies, government entities, or other attorneys. We are committed to helping families suffering loss after a car accident get the justice they are due.
