Deadly Circus Tent Collapse
A circus tent at the Lancaster Fairgrounds collapsed during a storm on August 3rd, resulting in two deaths and over 20 injuries. The collapse occurred as winds reaching 60 miles per hour and strong hail pelted the tent just as the first of two scheduled shows was beginning. Authorities are looking at how the tent was set up to determine why it was unable to withstand the storm.
