Rollover Accident in Concord
The driver of an SUV was involved in a rollover accident on Monday evening in Concord. Police have yet to release information about the driver or the vehicle, but the accident appears to have occurred when the driver over-corrected following impact with a parked car. The accident is still under investigation.
SUVs are top-heavy, a factor that often causes them to rollover on impact. In many cases, SUVs will rollover when no impact occurs as well, due to factors including soft shoulders or inclement weather. Tragically, many of these car accidents result in serious or fatal injury to the occupants of the unstable vehicle.
Electronic stability control is intended to prevent vehicle rollover, but often is insufficient when faced with design and safety flaws that increase risks for accidents. If you have been injured or a loved one has been killed in a rollover accident, the Concord personal injury attorneys at Van Dorn & Curtiss are here to take your case and fight for your rights, helping you secure every penny you are entitled to.
