National Impaired Driving Prevention Month
December is National Impaired Driving Prevention Month and law enforcement will be stepping up efforts to detect and arrest impaired drivers for the duration. A campaign entitled “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” is set to run December 16th – January 1st. During this campaign, law enforcement officers throughout Vermont and New Hampshire will be making more traffic stops to check for signs of impairment and help protect the lives of everyone on the road.
If you or a loved one is injured by an impaired driver this Holiday Season, please call our New Hampshire car accident attorneys (603) 556-4148 to schedule a free and informative consultation.
Heightened enforcement efforts are a great start when it comes to preventing injury caused by impaired drivers. Sadly, even these more aggressive campaigns are not enough to convince some people to avoid driving while on drugs or alcohol. We strongly encourage you to avoid drinking or using drugs prior to getting behind the wheel. If you are injured by someone who failed to practice similar caution, we are here to take your case and fight for the total compensation you are due.
